What we collect

When you send an order inquiry, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and anything you choose to add, like a phone number or a note. If you sign up for updates, contact us, or leave feedback, we collect your email address and whatever you write to us. We do not ask for payment details on this site. Like most websites, our servers also see your IP address and basic technical details such as your browser type when you visit or submit a form.

How we use it

We use what you send us to respond to you, fulfill and ship your order, and, if you opt in, send updates about new batches and restocks. We use technical details to keep the site working and to protect our forms from spam and abuse. We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Partner links and order records

Some people share Luna with their own community and earn a commission when someone orders through their link or code. Here is what that means for you.

  • If you order through a partner's link or code, we note which partner on your order. After your first paid order through them, you stay linked to that partner for 12 months, and they earn a commission on your orders in that time. Using a different link or code does not change that.
  • The partner is told that an order was placed and what we pay them for it. They never see your name, email address, shipping address, or what you ordered.
  • We keep a record of each order inquiry: what was ordered, the amounts, and a one-way code made from your email address, never the address itself. We use that code to recognize a first order and your partner link. Your name and shipping address stay in our email and are not part of that record. We keep order records for as long as we need them for our own bookkeeping and legal obligations.
  • A partner's link is remembered in a small cookie for up to 60 days. You can remove it in your cart, or by clearing your browser's cookies.
  • To order without a partner, use the site without their link or code. If you would like a partner link on your account to stop, email hello@loonluna.com and we will end it.
  • If you are one of our partners, we keep your contact details and payout details, encrypted, and use them only to run the program and pay you. You can ask us to erase them once any commission owed to you has been paid. We keep order and payout records without your identifying details, because we need them for our accounts.

Who else handles it

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run this site, deliver email, store order records, and guard our forms against bots. They handle your information only to provide those services to us, and we do not let anyone use it for their own marketing.

Cookies and tracking

We set one small cookie to remember that you confirmed your age, and we keep your inquiry cart in your browser for the length of your visit only. If you arrive through a partner's link, we set a second small cookie, for up to 60 days, that remembers which partner. You can remove it in your cart or by clearing your browser's cookies. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors. We collect anonymous, aggregate visit counts to understand which pages are useful.

How long we keep it

We keep your order and contact details so we can support your order and stay in touch, and we keep order records for as long as we need them for our own bookkeeping and legal obligations. If you would like us to delete your information, email us and we will.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time, and you can ask us what we have about you or to delete it. Email us at hello@loonluna.com and we will take care of it promptly.
